Recycle Household Hazardous Materials on Saturday April 26
All Riverland Terrace residents are encouraged to bring any hazardous recyclable materials to Medway Park on April 26, 2008. Please see list below for a sampling of accepted material.
A proposal to rezone land at Maybank Highway and Woodland Shores Road for neighborhood shops remains alive on James Island.
Town Council initially voted 4 to 1 against rezoning the land from residential use to planned unit development for the neighborhood shops on Feb. 5.
Riverland Terrace Neighborhood Association (RTNA) and Riverland Terrace Garden Club (RTGC) will be working together on our 3rd Clean Sweep on April 26, 2008. Plans include:
Cleaning out the neighborhood lakes/tidal ponds
Replanting our entrance medians with approximately 100 plants
Trimming trees and removing debris at our boat landing and
play park
Planting flowers around our historic landmark windmill
